Review in layers
First watch at normal speed to notice distracting false blurs and obvious misses. Then inspect track starts, endings, cuts and flagged gaps. Finally check the exported file at its real resolution.
A layered pass is faster and more reliable than randomly scrubbing the timeline.

Look for predictable failure conditions
Profiles, masks, occlusion, motion blur, reflections, screens and people at frame edges deserve extra attention. Dense scenes may require slower playback or frame stepping.
- Mask stays attached through motion.
- Mask covers the full identifying region.
- No unrelated object is persistently censored.
- Audio and duration match the source.
- Filename clearly marks the protected export.

Use a second reviewer when impact is high
Sensitive HR, claims or disclosure material can justify a four-eyes check. The second reviewer should inspect the deliverable independently rather than only confirming the first operator’s notes.
Record approval and release destination in the job log.
