Security
Secure where it matters, absent where it should be.
CensorFlow protects the account and licensing layer with care — and removes the biggest risk entirely by keeping your footage off servers.
Measures
What we do — and deliberately do not — hold.
Licence keys are never stored in the clear
The platform stores a reference and the last few characters of a key, not the full plaintext. Full keys are only revealed to you through a protected account action.
Signed, verifiable activation
Device activation uses a server-signed entitlement that the desktop app verifies locally with an embedded public key. The signing key stays server-side.
Idempotent payment webhooks
Purchase events are verified and de-duplicated, so a repeated webhook cannot double-issue a licence or corrupt account state.
Least-data account records
Downloads are recorded without storing your IP address, and account tables are protected with row-level security so you only see your own data.
Secure transport
The website and account service are served over HTTPS with modern security headers configured at the framework level.
Your video is out of scope
Because footage never reaches a server, the largest class of data-breach risk simply does not exist for your content.
