Processing your first video
From opening a file to exporting protected footage.
This guide walks through a complete first pass: loading a clip, letting CensorFlow detect and track faces, choosing a censorship mode, and exporting a protected file — all on your own machine.
1. Open your footage
Launch CensorFlow and open a video file. The application reads the file locally; nothing is uploaded.
2. Detect and track
Start analysis. CensorFlow detects visible faces and tracks each one as it moves through the scene, building a set of face tracks for the clip.
3. Choose a mode
- Soft face blur for a natural look
- Strong blur or solid mask for maximum concealment
- Pixelation or a bar for an editorial style
4. Review and export
Check the privacy review report for suggested moments, then export. The original audio track is preserved.
Automatic detection is a strong starting point, not a legal guarantee. Use the review report for a final human check on sensitive footage.
